The modernist period grain dryers in the Latvian countryside have always amazed me with their monumental constructivist massing that expresses pure utility, and their rich decaying textures of rusty iron, aging timber, concrete, and asbestos cement.
These series of paintings were created for the Latvian Landscape Painting Award exhibition.
